# Untold stories, recorded before they’re lost

* * *

Discover More is a community interest company. We find the people behind the history of the Isle of Wight and the Solent, record what they remember, and save the photographs that might otherwise be lost.

What we do

## Most local history was never written down. We go and ask.

1

### Record the voices

We sit down with the people who were there and record their memories as oral history interviews, with audio, transcripts and portraits.

2

### Save the collections

We archive photograph collections that might otherwise be lost, and make them free for anyone to see.

3

### Share what we find

Through websites, exhibitions, public artworks and resources for schools, so the stories go back to the communities they came from.

### Know a story that should be recorded?

If you worked somewhere, belonged to something or kept a box of photographs that tells part of the Island’s story, we’d like to hear from you.
