Like every web host, our hosting company, Hostinger, keeps standard server logs: your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time. These are used only to keep the website secure and working, and are deleted by Hostinger after a limited period. We don’t use them to identify visitors.
When you email us
We use your name, email address and anything you tell us to reply to you and, if you’d like, to talk about your story. We keep correspondence only as long as we need it. We never sell or share your details for marketing.
If you take part in one of our projects, we’ll explain clearly how your recording, words or photographs will be used, and ask for your written agreement before anything is published.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, or object to how we use it. Email contactus@discover-more.co.uk.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
