Flame Keepers interviews on Talking News this Christmas

Sight for Wight will broadcast all five interviews for listeners with sight loss.

The five Flame Keepers interviews are going out on Sight for Wight’s Talking News service, so members with sight loss can hear the story of the Ronson lighter factory in the words of the women who worked there.

The interviews will be broadcast in half-hour parts over the Christmas closure, and Sight for Wight will be letting members know through November and December. Members who would like the complete interviews can ask for them on a USB stick.

Sight for Wight is one of the Isle of Wight’s longest-running charities, and celebrated its 160th anniversary in 2025. We’re very glad to be working with them.
